Pluck an itchy coo bud (real name Rose Hip), split it in half, remove the seeds (which were covered in fine fluffy fibres), and place down the back of your mates shirts. Watch them itch, scratch and squirm in class all day!!
A WEE LOOK BACK AT DUNDEE - 1960's, 1970's & 1980's.
Ah, that was a classic prank!! :-D
ReplyDeleteThere was another plant we used to have fun with, called "Sticky Willy". The stems and leaves stuck to your jersey, socks etc, like Velcro. We'd snap a clump off, someone would start to chase a crowd of us and chuck it at us, and whoever's jersey it stuck to, they'd peel it off, and it was their turn to do the chasing & chucking!
ReplyDeleteI remember Itchy Coos as being round and bigger than the ones in the picture. Great unlimited ammo for my catapult as a kid.
