Apart from the church, most of the buildings are still around today, although not necessarily as the same businesses that are in shot. For example the amusements have gone, the bank on the corner has changed and I'm sure there will be one or two others.

ReplyDeletePoor lochee its like a ghost toon now. Ironically since tesco closed,its been left to rot,Yet it was Tesco that closed the majority of the wee shops in the first instance. I have a pal with a shop on the High street, god knows how long he will last now the RBS is pulling out.

DeleteWas Cherry Video rentals place not down from the Amusements?? also remember Woolers bicycle shop and KM products just up round the corner...Also remember a street just of the main road that went under an old rail bridge if i'm right.
