The DRCU creche got a mention in yesterdays comments, and so here is a reminder of how it looked.
The photo, taken around the late 80's, features the magnificent 6ft painting by Laura Walker, who later went on to decorate the whole place.

Quick reply to all posts! , alan - will email you a colour version , birdie yes laura was at DOJ in the late 80's so you where bound to see her around producing brilliant artworks!and Lyken , that painting might have been the McManus for a group exhibition Laura had , have to check with her !
ReplyDeleteIt is a great painting and you cant really tell from the black and white pic but it has sweets stuck to it and the horse has false eyelashes !
Laura is a brilliant but modest artist !
