Britt was definetly there, Rod was there Davie Urquhart and I were there. Two nights Caird Hall - working the spots. There were deinertly footballs and beer! Makes more sense to be at least 17 lol 1977. Thanks for keeping me right ! Pints of beer on Ian McLagan's piano and Rod kicking ball into the crowd. It was wonderful. Wish there was more photos. Great to hear the music though.Sheenanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1075437092819379415.post-89523165481211723622017-07-13T03:13:34.969-07:002017-07-13T03:13:34.969-07:00You're referring to the wrong gig.

To be honest, it was more Ms Ekland telling us not to mess up the lighting but as I remember there were more pressing problems over the 2 nights than the lights!and your no wrong with the description - torags then and not much different now! I remember if you knew someone who worked at the Caird you could pretty much get your bum on a seat at any gig for a fiver and a half bottle of OVD! Joan Collins is such a bullshitter, as you were drinking beer with Britt backstage in 1972 in between operating the spotlights for the gigs. ill bet rod thought if these two talented 12 year old drunken linlathen torags can pull the most photographed woman in the 70's ill ask joan collins in three years time to set me up. jim Mclauchlanjim gelnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1075437092819379415.post-77022231691794220012017-07-05T04:44:50.835-07:002017-07-05T04:44:50.835-07:001972 - Caird Hall - two nights - myself and my mat...1972 - Caird Hall - two nights - myself and my mate Dave Urquhart operated the Spot Lights for both gigs - we chatted to Brit Ekland, drank beer and aquired Rods Red Tartan Scarf which we cut in half and showed off to our mates at school the following week(Linlathen High) - we were 12 YEARS OLD !!
