BDA & BRAMBER - DUNSINANE

2 low profile companies based at Dunsinane were British Domestic Appliances and Bramber.
The BDA advert is dated 1968 and they specialised in making cooling units for fridges.
It's quite funny to see that one of the names BDA were linked to was called ACME. I always thought they were a fictitious all-purpose company name used only in cartoons! Amazed to find out one actually existed.
The Bramber ad is from the 70's and their niche was vehicle road springs. I just can't figure out what the illustration on the ad is supposed to be though!

  1. the bramber illustration is of a typical "leaf spring" suspension bar for cars/vans/lorries, etc
